SediCalc consists of several modules for sedimentological analysis. This application includes, as main topics, centrifuge methods and grain size determination by differential settling.
Here are some key features of "SediCalc":
Atterberg
￭ Calculates settling times in differential settling analyses
￭ Calculates density and viscosity data for a variety of suspension media in dependance on temperature
￭ Density and viscosity data are store in an editable file as coefficients of a 6 deg. polynomial regression.
￭ Calculates time and date for the end of analysis for a given starting date. Don't bother with adding hours, minutes, and seconds to the starting time. Let the computer do that for you (it can do it better).
￭ Prints pretty tables
